"L&S Associates was an exceptional liaison and advocate to have when I found myself ill and uninsured.  They piloted me through a confusing and unfamiliar social service system here in Michigan.  Friendly, polite, informative and non-patronizing, the L&S workers enabled me to obtain the assistance I needed to meet my medical care cost.  A useful service, I would recommend for all hospitals."

Should I also apply for Social Security Disability benefits?

If you apply for Medicaid based upon a disability, many state Medicaid agencies will require you to apply for and receive Social Security benefits in order to keep your Medicaid. It is to your advantage to apply as soon as possible and to request help in appealing a denial.
